He Wants Your Heart, Not Your Sacrifice

They have not done anything wrong; they were just hardworking people, trying to make an honest living, dedicating their days to their families. On September 11, 2001, the hardworking people at the World Trade Center were victims of a cowardly terrorist attack. Innocent lives were lost in an act of senseless violence, but their memory lives on in the hearts of people around the world.
At first, people thought it was just an accident. But when more attacks happened in other places in the U.S., it became clear that it was a planned terrorist attack.
The innocent people who died that day never imagined that there could be individuals so consumed by hatred people who despise life and peace, driven by jealousy, bitterness, and a deep intolerance. These were not visionaries seeking a better world, but extremists determined to reshape it through fear and violence. Why? Because they could not accept that others choose to live differently, to believe in different values, and to reject their oppressive ideology.
These attackers followed a radical and hateful interpretation of Islam. They harbored deep hatred toward Christians and the values of Western societies, viewing America as the greatest enemy of their beliefs. Ironically, while American troops have long supported and protected many Muslim-majority nations, these extremists sought to ignite a global religious war. Their goal was to impose a strict version of Islamic law on the entire world through violence, fear, and force
The Bible never teaches us to hate anyone even those who don’t believe in Jesus.
Instead, Jesus calls us to love others, including our enemies. He teaches forgiveness, mercy, and kindness, not hatred or violence.
“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”
Matthew 5:44
While the terrorists on 9/11 used violence in the name of their beliefs, their actions deeply shook people around the world including some Muslims. In the aftermath, many began to question what they believed, seeking peace and truth. Some of them encountered the message of Jesus Christ and found hope, forgiveness, and a new life in Him.
People must stand together against terrorism and false information. They should search for the truth with open hearts and clear minds.
Many Muslims who live in the U.S. enjoy more freedom, safety, and legal rights than they would in some Muslim-majority countries, where governments may be unstable or too strict. America is not officially a Christian country, but Christian values like justice, kindness, and helping others have helped shape its culture. At the same time, people of all religions are free to practice their faith.
In fact, I know many people who want to move to America to live and work because they trust the system and believe it offers a better future. Even people working in the Gulf often dream of going to the U.S. because of the fairness, rights, and opportunities it provides for everyone no matter their religion.
If America really hated Muslims, then why would so many Muslims want to move there and raise their families in peace?
Many Christian groups in the U.S. are helping people all over the world including in Muslim countries. They give food, clean water, medical care, and more. They do this because of their faith in Jesus, but they are not trying to force anyone to convert. They just want to show love, kindness, and hope to others.
These Christian organizations don’t hate Muslims. In fact, they love them because Jesus taught His followers to love everyone. They want to serve others and share the peace and love of Jesus with the world.
“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
Matthew 22:39
Some Christian missionaries have even been arrested, attacked, or killed for sharing their faith. But they keep going because they believe in the message of Jesus, who is called the Prince of Peace. He taught people to forgive and love, even when others hurt them.
On 9/11, countless families were torn apart fathers lost sons, sons lost fathers, husbands lost wives, and wives lost husbands. Innocent lives were taken without remorse. The terrorists showed no regard for human life or peace. Their barbaric actions were driven by a dangerous and hateful ideology.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:3
In the Gospel of John in the Bible, we learn that Jesus is more than just a prophet or teacher:
“In the beginning was the Word” this means Jesus existed before everything.
“The Word was with God” Jesus has always been close to God.
“The Word was God” Jesus is truly God.
Everything was made through Him nothing exists without Him.
The verses above clearly show that Jesus is not just a prophet or a good teacher He is truly God. He came to Earth with a mission: to save people from their sins and to restore their relationship with God.
Unlike many who seek power through violence or control, Jesus came in humility, showing love to the broken, mercy to the guilty, and truth to those searching for meaning.
He didn’t come to condemn the world, but to offer eternal life to all who believe in Him. His life, death on the cross, and resurrection prove that He is the Savior of the world and the true living God.
The Bible is not a mystical or cryptic book that requires extraordinary effort to understand. God gave us the Bible so that everyone regardless of background or education can come to know Him and understand His purpose for humanity. Bible is the true word of God meant to be accessible to all who seek the true living God.
There’s a lot of misinformation in the world about how to know God. Some say you must leave everything behind and meditate in isolation. Others claim you need to perform specific rituals or accumulate good deeds to reach Him. But the truth is far simpler and far more powerful. The God of the Bible is not distant or hidden. He is closer than we think. He comes to us when we believe in Him with a sincere heart. We don’t have to climb mountains to find Him. He meets us right where we are.
The idea of truly knowing God may seem strange to the world. Many imagine God as distant and hard to reach. But the Bible tells a different story. In Scripture, God Himself came down to earth in the person of Jesus Christ. He lived a holy, sinless life, and then willingly gave Himself as a sacrifice not for His own sins, but for ours. Through His death and resurrection, He made a way to save us from God’s righteous judgment.
Some misguided people believe that God wants them to harm others or seek revenge in His name. But they are deeply mistaken. Those who twist God’s message to justify evil are not serving Him; they are following a path that leads to destruction, led astray by those who corrupt the truth.
The confusion and misunderstanding about God in the world have led to tragic consequences violence, injustice, and the killing of innocent people, as seen in heartbreaking events like 9/11. When people follow a distorted view of God, they may justify hatred and destruction. But when someone comes to know the true God the God revealed in the Bible they begin to value life, because God is the author of life. God of the bible called Christians to love, not to hate; to save, not to destroy. Jesus given the mission to every believer to reach every soul with the hope of salvation, rescuing those who are heading toward eternal separation from God. Jesus cared about every soul and he promised his follower for eternal life.
There is no secret technique or violent path to knowing the God of the Bible. You don’t need to go to war, perform rituals, or harm others to earn His love. The truth is simple: all you need to do is believe in Him.
Come to Him with a humble heart and say, ‘Jesus, I can’t do this on my own. I fall, I fail, and I need You in my life.’ And He will come not with force or fear, but with love, grace, and truth.
God isn’t looking for your sacrifice He’s looking for your heart. Jesus is perfect, and He comes not for those who think they’re already good enough, but for those who know they can never be perfect on their own.
“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father.”
John 14:9
