This course provides a structured, in-depth study of the Gospel according to John, examining its historical setting, literary structure, major themes, teachings of Jesus, signs, βI AMβ statements, discipleship, death, resurrection, and theological message.
Students will study John not only chapter by chapter but also thematically, learning how the Gospel presents Jesus as the Son of God and how its message applies to Christian faith and life.

Format: Reading + lecture + interactive activities + discussion + reflection + assessment
Primary textbook: Gospel of John, preferably using several Bible translations for comparison
