Course Description
Amos: Justice, Righteousness, Judgment, and Restoration is a 15-lesson study of Amos 1-9. Students examine the prophet's challenge to prosperous but unjust Israel, including oppression of the poor, corrupt justice, empty worship, false security, the Day of the Lord, prophetic visions, opposition to God's messenger, and the final promise to restore David's fallen shelter.

Fifteen substantial self-study lessons cover Amos 1-9: Amos's calling, judgment on the nations, Israel's covenant accountability, oppression of the poor, true worship, seeking the Lord, justice and righteousness, the Day of the Lord, complacent luxury, visions of locusts and fire, the plumb line, Amos and Amaziah, the basket of summer fruit, famine of hearing God's word, sovereign judgment, and restoration of David's fallen shelter.
