The living Word

The promise of the Messiah, proclaimed by God the Father, shines brighter than the stars and is sweeter than the honeycomb. Spoken, written, and fulfilled in Christ, this promise endures forever. For the Word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any double-edged sword. It is food for the hungry and healing for the wounded.

Is it not written, “Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:19)? Then should we not honor this temple with the provision of God? For the Word of God strengthens the body, preserves the soul in truth, and guards all who receive it. It is a shield against sinful thoughts.

Therefore, brethren, let us not grow weary or slothful. Let us open the Scriptures and read them daily. Let us share the Word of God with the weary and the broken, for it alone restores the soul. The Word of God purifies the heart from all impurity, strengthens the spirit within, and equips us to stand firm in every trial.

Yet look at our world today: disputes arise, contentions multiply, and men place heavy reliance on false hope. Like sin pressing upon the weak, strife threatens to consume fellowship and peace. Nations quarrel, neighbors divide, and even households are shaken. But in the midst of trials, God has spoken a greater Word: Jesus Christ is coming. To all who believe, He brings salvation from the wrath of God. To Him alone belongs the title King of Kings, the true Ruler of the new heaven and the new earth. In today’s world, men govern without justice, and people have lost hope in truth but where Christ reigns, truth prevails.

Jesus did not come with the sword of man, but with the sword of the Spirit. He came not to destroy, but to reconcile. And when Jesus comes a second time, He will judge the proud and merciless. Then all believers will see the truth, which shall never fail.
