Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Salvation refers to the deliverance from sin and its consequences, granted by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It involves redemption, forgiveness, and reconciliation with God. Central to this belief is the death and resurrection of Jesus, which atones for humanity’s sins. Salvation is not earned by works but is a gift, received through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9).
It includes justification (being declared righteous), sanctification (spiritual growth), and ultimately glorification (eternal life with God). Different denominations vary in their views, but all agree that salvation is essential for eternal communion with God and escaping spiritual death.
