Micah 6:8 (KJV)
“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”
Living a godly life means aligning one’s thoughts, actions, and desires with God’s will as revealed in Scripture. It begins with faith in Jesus Christ, followed by daily obedience, prayer, and spiritual growth through the Holy Spirit.
Believers are called to reflect Christ’s character love, humility, forgiveness, and holiness. Reading the Bible, participating in fellowship, and practicing self-discipline help nurture a godly life. It involves turning away from sin and pursuing righteousness, not to earn salvation, but as a response to God’s grace. A godly life honors God and serves as a witness to others of His transforming power.
