When we think of the term “warrior,” we usually imagine a person who possesses immense bravery, strength, and outstanding combat skills. Warriors are not just strong physically; they are also well-trained in handling weapons such as swords. They rely on a plan of action designed to achieve their overall aim and intelligent thinking to secure victory. Renowned for their stamina, they can endure tough situations and confront threats without fear. A genuine warrior is courageous, self-assured, and motivated by a deep belief in their abilities. Their dedication to triumph is steadfast, and they continue to advance regardless of the challenges they face.
Although warriors are often regard in a particular light as strong and capable, but God doesn’t pick those who seem powerful by society’s standards. Instead, He frequently chooses people who might seem lacking the abilities of a warriors who are lacking the necessary skills, knowledge, or experience for a particular role or task.
Is it right to choose individuals for tasks they can’t do? But God chooses the weak to show His strength. God reveals His glory by selecting people whom society sees as incapable. It’s not about the person’s abilities, but about God’s power that achieves the goal.
Throughout history, God selected individuals who lacked confidence, social standing, or not capable like Moses, who had a speech difficulty.
“Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
Exodus 4:10
When God choose Moses for his task Moses asked God to send someone else. But God remind Moses that he will be with him.
It was God who helped Moses lead the Israelites out of Pharaoh’s grip. It was God who parted the Red Sea, making a path through walls of water so His people could walk through safely. The ten plagues that struck Egypt were display of God’s power and judgment. When God chooses you, it’s not because of your strength, but because He wants to reveal His might through you especially in the face of those who stand against Him, like Pharaoh.
Don’t be afraid to admit that you’ve felt weak, scared, or unqualified for God to use you. Maybe you’ve thought, “Why me?” or “I’m not good enough.” But the truth is, when God is with you, you can stand before kings like Pharaoh, part the Red Sea, and even bring water from a rock. It’s not about your ability it’s about His power working through you.
“Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10
God doesn’t require you to be a warrior. He simply asks you to trust Him. With faith, He can do mighty things through you. If you’re feeling afraid or lacking confidence, bow down in prayer and ask God for help. He will strengthen you, replace your fear with courage, and fill you with the confidence you need.
When you rely on Him, there is nothing you cannot accomplish according to His plan. “Amen.”
