Revelation 21:8 (KJV):
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
God created a perfect world, filled with peace and harmony. But when sin entered, it disrupted that peace and brought separation between humanity and God.
Today, suffering and injustice are widespread, affecting people everywhere.
Yet, Jesus has already defeated Satan on the cross by sacrificing Himself for the sins of others. The crucifixion of Jesus became the greatest triumph the world has ever known.
Even though many may not find justice in this world, His victory offers hope beyond it.
For those who don’t believe, there is no lasting hope for justice. But for those who put their faith in Jesus, there is a promise: one day, all suffering will end, and a new Kingdom will come where God Himself will reign forever.
When the King of kings rules the world, injustice and suffering will come to an end. There will be no more pain, no more tears, and no more evil only peace, joy, and righteousness will remain. His Kingdom will be one of perfect justice, unshakable love, and everlasting hope. Unlike earthly rulers, He is not flawed or limited. He is holy, all-knowing, and full of mercy. For He is the perfect ruler the One who reigns with truth, grace, and power forever.
The book of Revelation is a powerful source of encouragement for Christians who are facing suffering and persecution today. It reminds believers that, despite the darkness and trials of this world, God is still in control. Revelation reveals the ultimate victory of Jesus Christ, the defeat of evil, and the promise of a new heaven and a new earth. It assures us that our present suffering is temporary, and a glorious future awaits those who remain faithful. For every tear will be wiped away, and in the end, God’s justice, peace, and glory will reign forever.
The book of Revelation is not only for Christians it also carries a clear warning for non-believers. It reveals that God’s wrath will be poured out on the murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars who continue in sin without repentance. It speaks of the final judgment that awaits all people, where every life will be held accountable. Revelation makes it clear that evil and injustice will not go unpunished. Yet, it also promises a new, perfect world where peace, righteousness, and justice will reign forever under God’s rule.
